Packaging Automation Corporation
is unique in offering an
on-site, productivity assessment
to customers to help assess and
prioritize real needs relative
to end-of-line automation. This
process helps solidify the
justification for automation
investments.
The assessment process begins with the development of a clear understanding of the
current and projected productivity challenges facing the company. It involves
an objective review of any end-of-line constraints that impact throughput and productivity.
This includes line layout concerns, redundancy issues, ergonomics, product flow,
line changeover frequency, product line flexibility requirements based on demand fluctuations
or new products, congestion issues, employee safety concerns and more.
Collecting this information requires that we tour your facility and get a hands-on review
of the procedures and processes being used today to meet your end-of-line packaging needs.
We will also want to clearly understand any future issues and objectives you would like
to address through automation to assure that those needs are considered in the assessment.
After we are confident that we have a thorough understanding of your operation and the
objectives you would like to accomplish through automation, we will submit the findings
(with ROI report) and propose cost-effective technology solutions that are well-matched
to your operation and plant personnel.

Purchasing well-designed and integrated end-of-line packaging solutions
that flawlessly perform, day-in and day-out, is the undisputed objective of every
customer. While we continuously strive for flawless performance, we realize that
electrical/mechanical components can fail. It is during those times that the true
quality of your service provider will be revealed.
Packaging Automation Corp has a staff of competent engineers and technicians that
are skilled at troubleshooting and servicing the equipment we supply, assisting
with the diagnosis and repair of any mechanical, electrical or software related
problems that may occur. We have the ability to respond within 24 hours,
with an objective of same-day service.
The first and major part of this step happens before we ever ship the system.
This step is the in-house testing. Every system is set up and tested in our
facility, with a production test witnessed by the customer. This assures our
customers of the quality and reliability they will receive. It also cuts down
the time on-site at our customers and reducing the affects on their business.
We don’t believe in using our customer’s space or time to test and debug our systems.
We offer our customers full installation and training services to assure that our
systems are installed on schedule, with minimal downtime, and start-up without
complications. While we realize that some customers prefer to do their own
installations, we stand ready to support their efforts as needed.
